Overview
The goal of this activity is to disseminate information about the treatments and care provided for pancreatic cancer patients and the new research and technologies implemented, resulting in improved patient outcomes.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Implement genetic testing of patients and family members to screen for those who are at risk for developing pancreatic cancer and other cancers
  2. Evaluate, counsel and treat patients with pancreatic cancer at all stages of disease (locally advanced, resectable, borderline resectable, metastatic)
  3. Provide a comprehensive understanding of innovative and emerging cancer therapies, inclusive of the side effects, to the cancer patient
  4. Apprise fellow clinicians and healthcare providers of emerging paradigms of the latest clinical trials and supportive care

Registration

Multidisciplinary Therapy of Pancreas Cancer - Virtual open session will begin at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2001 and will adjourn at 4:20 p.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021.

You will receive instructions for the Virtual program via email 3-5 days prior to the conference.  The only requirement for the online conference is that you must have a laptop/desktop computer, webcam and access to stable internet connection.

The registration fee, minus a $50 administrative handling fee, is refundable if a written request is received on or before April 2, 2021.  No refunds will be granted after that date. The request for a registration refund must include the tax identification number of the company or institution if registration was paid by a company or institution check.

The Department of Continuing Professional Education reserves the right to cancel activities prior to the scheduled date if low enrollment or other circumstances make it necessary.  Each registrant will be notified by mail, email or at the phone or fax numbers given on the registration form.

The Department of Continuing Professional Education reserves the right to limit the number of participants in a program and is not responsible for any expenses incurred by an individual whose registration is not confirmed and for whom space is not available.
