This program is designed to advance the field of oncology nursing by delivering comprehensive education across the continuum of care. It encompasses advanced practice topics, highlights best practices, fosters meaningful networking, and offers valuable insights from experienced clinical subject matter experts. With a strong emphasis on emerging drugs, innovative treatments, evolving processes, and the integration of translational research into clinical practice, the conference is tailored to meet the diverse needs of nurses working in all oncology settings. Grounded in current trends and the forefront of oncology practice, it provides a dynamic platform for learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe current updates in oncology treatment and pharmacologic advances.
  2. Explain evidence-based oncology management across the continuum of care for hematologic and solid tumors.
  3. Define best practices for managing symptoms and comorbidities in the oncology population.

An In-Person + Virtual Activity 

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Oncology Nursing Conference: Enhancing Knowledge, Transforming Practice will take place September 25–26, 2026, as a hybrid event offering both in-person and virtual attendance options. This year’s conference will feature expert-led sessions on emerging oncology treatments, precision medicine, nursing innovation, symptom management, and interdisciplinary best practices designed to support oncology nurses across all care settings. The conference will begin at 8:00 AM on Friday, September 25, 2026. 

Advanced registration is encouraged. The deadline for advanced registration is August 25, 2026.

Virtual Registration:
Once your payment has been made, a receipt can be found in the MyCE area of your PEP@MD Anderson account. The Zoom information and all other necessary links will be emailed out the week of the conference. The virtual conference will be streamed live via Zoom.

When registering online a receipt (confirmation letter) will be automatically emailed to the e-mail address you list on the registration form.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY
The registration fee, minus a $50 administrative handling fee, is refundable if a written request is received on or before, August 25, 2026.  No refunds will be granted after that date.  The request for a registration refund must include the tax identification number of the company or institution if registration was paid by a company or institution check.  For additional information, contact Continuing Professional Education at 713-792-2223 or toll free at 866-849-5866.

Continuing Professional Education reserves the right to cancel activities prior to the scheduled date, if low enrollment or other circumstances make it necessary.  Each registrant will be notified by mail, e-mail, or by phone given on the registration form.

In case of activity cancellation, the liability of Continuing Professional Education is limited to the registration fee.  Continuing Professional Education will refund the full registration fee.
