AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)

This series has been planned to improve the overall patient care in a population often plagued with delays in care and inadequate access to care.  This series will enhance the knowledge base of the learners and improve patient outcomes through the collaborative efforts of the interdisciplinary team to enhance communication and enable team-based care for our patients. 

 

 

1. Understand significance of communication across disciplines to facilitate care and manage patient care efficiently.
2. Provide treatment strategies for the surgical approach, radiation and chemotherapy in the management of gynecologic malignancies that is consistent with the National Guidelines, to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with these tumors.
3. Interpret the pathologic review of gynecologic tissue for quality assurance and treatment planning.
4. Provide appropriate pre-operative evaluation of known or suspected gynecologic malignancies.
