Overview
This activity will cover the major aspects of operating a proton therapy treatment program.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Utilize the information presented to better prepare for proton therapy treatments, thus improving patient outcomes.
  2. Incorporate knowledge on the responsibilities of dosimetrists, physicists and nurses in the treatment of proton therapy and the importance of their roles to provide optimal patient care.
  3. Apply the knowledge of treatment planning and operations to perform proton therapy in respective centers/locations.
  4. Gain a greater appreciation and perspective of the steps and personnel needed to perform quality proton therapy.

This activity is a recording of the Live Conference "International Proton Therapy Training" and will feature content presented by physicians, physicists, researchers and dosimetrists. These modules will cover the major aspects of operating a proton therapy treatment program.

Learners must complete a pre- and post-test for each module in chronological order. Upon completion of the final module post-test, the learner must procced to the activity evaluation (MyCE > Evaluations) in order to receive CE credit.
