Overview
The Clinical Cancer Genetics Grand Rounds provides adequate knowledge to the healthcare team to identify patterns of hereditary cancer predisposition. Professionals will hear from various professions on how to work as a team to implement changes in practice, when to engage in appropriate referrals, and prevent unnecessary screenings.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Interpret and clarify new developments in therapeutic research.
  2. Incorporate current information and diagnostic screen principles of hereditary cancer syndromes into their clinical practice.
  3. Communicate information and discoveries performed by established world leaders in hereditary cancer syndromes and genetic testing.
  4. Demonstrate the molecular biology in relationship to genetic disorders and hereditary cancer syndromes.
