Overview
Oncologic emergencies are potentially life threatening complications caused by cancer. This course includes both metabolic and structural oncologic emergencies as defined by the Oncology Nursing Society. Advanced Practice Providers and Content Experts will present the most common oncologic emergencies utilizing patient scenarios and case studies.


Objectives

At the conclusion of this learning activity:


  1. The registered nurse will self-report an increase in knowledge regarding patients experiencing metabolic and structural oncologic emergencies.

To receive 6.50 contact hours for this activity, the participant must:
