A forum that will feature both internal and external leaders in Epidemiology who will share their groundbreaking work with departmental, divisional and collaborating department's faculty, students, and the MD Anderson community at-large, as epidemiological research helps us recognize not only who has a disorder or disease but why and how it was brought to this individual or region.

1. Critically evaluate epidemiological findings from published research studies.
2. Interpret the impact of bias, confounding, and effect modification on causal inference in epidemiologic research.
3. Explain the history and key initiatives of global health, how health and development strategies interact, and the role of cross-sector organizations in global health governance and practice.
