Overview
The MD Anderson Cancer Network Nursing Education Series is designed for oncology nurses within the Partner and Certified Member program and provides evidence-based oncology content. This learning activity will include information on drug administration principles of systemic therapy, including updates in administration practice, drug-drug interactions, personal protective equipment, patient education, and relevant resources. Registration in Zoom is required.


ANCC Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Learners will articulate increased knowledge of one concept learned related to drug administration principles of systemic therapy for cancer patients.
  2. Learners will articulate increased knowledge of one concept learned related to recent updates in systemic therapy administration practice.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION:


To receive 1.00 contact hours for this activity, the participant must: 

•Create an account in the Professional Education Portal (PEP) and save your Mobile Number to your PEP account if not already done. 
•Register for this activity.
•During activity, TEXT your attendance to 1-844-912-1333 and up to 24 hrs after the course has ended using the Activity ID provided by the Facilitator during program.
•Complete a participant evaluation in PEP, under the MyCE tab, within 30 consecutive days of the learning activity where you will also have immediate access to your Certificate.
