Overview
The symposium will feature a keynote address by Michel Sadelain, MD, PhD, Director of the Center for Cell Engineering and Director of the Cellular Therapeutics Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, alongside presentations from internationally recognized experts in immunology, cancer biology, translational research, and cellular engineering. The program will explore emerging frontiers in cell therapy across cellular fitness and persistence, glioblastoma, off-the-shelf and iPSC-derived cell therapies, AI-driven single-cell and spatial technologies, autoimmunity, and the evolving regulatory landscape. Through these sessions, the symposium will examine innovative strategies for advancing cellular therapies from discovery and engineering to clinical application. Through engaging presentations, expert discussions, and opportunities for collaboration, the symposium will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and the translation of groundbreaking discoveries from the laboratory to the clinic. Attendees will gain insight into emerging therapeutic strategies, clinical advances, and the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of cell therapy.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Evaluate the latest advances in NK-cell therapy, immune engineering, and other emerging cellular platforms.
  2. Assess the significance of emerging clinical data and novel discoveries discussed by leading experts in the field.
  3. Examine challenges in cell therapy, including treatment resistance, safety, manufacturing, and strategies to improve therapeutic efficacy.
  4. Examine emerging approaches that have the potential to expand access to and applicability of cellular therapies.
  5. Apply translational science principles to connect emerging research findings with clinical development and patient management considerations.
  6. Apply collaborative approaches to promote knowledge exchange and support advances in cellular therapy development and implementation.
