Overview
LEAP-N Oncology Series: Fatty Liver: A Sneaky Epidemic This course reviews the progression of fatty liver disease from steatosis to cirrhosis. Participants will explore risk factors, clinical presentation, early diagnosis, and evidence-based lifestyle and pharmacologic interventions to prevent disease progression and improve patient outcomes.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe the progression of fatty liver disease from steatosis to cirrhosis and the importance of early diagnosis.
  2. Apply current evidence-based therapeutic interventions for the management of fatty liver disease.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION:

To receive Nursing Contact Hours for this activity, the participant must: 

  • Create an account in the Professional Education Portal (PEP) and save your Mobile Number to your PEP account if not already done.

  • Register for this activity.

  • During activity, TEXT your attendance to 1-844-912-1333 and up to 24hrs after the course has ended using the Activity ID provided by the Facilitator during program.

  • Complete a participant evaluation in PEP, under the MyCE tab, within 30 consecutive days of the learning activity where you will also have immediate access to your Certificate.
