Overview
Stay current with emerging advances in the management of advanced breast cancer at this comprehensive educational conference. The 2027 program will highlight evolving approaches to local and systemic management, including precision medicine strategies, antibody-drug conjugates, novel targeted therapies, immunotherapy, cellular therapies, and the integration of liquid biopsy technologies such as circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and measurable residual disease (MRD) monitoring. Faculty will discuss advances in biomarker-driven treatment selection, multiomic profiling, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, management of CNS disease, survivorship considerations, and supportive care interventions designed to optimize patient outcomes. The conference will also examine new perspectives in multidisciplinary breast cancer care, emphasizing collaboration among medical oncologists, surgeons, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, pharmacists, social workers, patient advocates, and other members of the healthcare team. Through expert presentations, case-based discussions, panel discussions, and practical clinical insights, participants will gain strategies to personalize treatment plans, manage treatment related toxicities, evaluate clinical trial opportunities, incorporate emerging technologies into clinical practice, and apply evidence-based approaches to improve outcomes for patients living with advanced breast cancer.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Evaluate emerging systemic therapies, including targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and cellular therapies, for patients with advanced breast cancer.
  2. Incorporate biomarker, liquid biopsy, and multiomic data into clinical decision-making to support personalized treatment strategies for patients with advanced breast cancer.
  3. Identify and manage treatment-related toxicities and supportive care needs associated with novel and established therapies used in advanced breast cancer care.
  4. Assess current and emerging approaches to local and systemic management, including strategies for patients with CNS involvement and other complex clinical challenges.
  5. Apply multidisciplinary and patient-centered approaches, including advances in diagnostics, clinical trials, and emerging technologies, to improve outcomes for patients with advanced breast cancer.
