The 23rd Oncology Updates: Advances and Controversies Conference provides a multidisciplinary, case-based forum to address key challenges in the management of solid tumors. As treatment options rapidly expand, clinicians must stay current on emerging evidence, evolving standards of care, and the use of therapies across earlier and advanced disease settings. This activity brings together experts in medical, surgical, and radiation oncology, along with pathology, radiology, and supportive care, to examine clinical controversies, review new data, and discuss optimal, evidence-based treatment strategies. Emphasis is placed on applying biomarker-driven approaches, immunotherapies, and targeted treatments in real-world practice. Through interactive discussions and evidence-based presentations, participants will enhance their ability to interpret data, make informed treatment decisions, and improve multidisciplinary care and patient outcomes.

1. Apply evidence-based sequencing of surgical, radiation, and systemic therapies—including immunotherapies and targeted treatments—for the management of solid tumors.
2. Evaluate and select optimal, individualized treatment strategies across disease stages and clinical scenarios using case-based decision-making.
3. Integrate prevention, screening, and symptom management into comprehensive, multidisciplinary oncology care to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. 
4. Analyze areas of controversy in oncology care and apply current evidence to support informed clinical decision-making.

Advance registration is encouraged for the 23rd Annual Oncology Update: Advances and Controversies. On-site registration opens at 6:30 AM on Friday, January 15, 2027, and the conference begins at 7:00 AM. The conference will adjourn at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 18, 2027.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
The registration fee, minus a $50 administrative handling fee, is refundable if a written request is received on or before January 5, 2027.  No refunds will be granted after this date.  The request for a registration refund must include the tax identification number of the company or institution if registration was paid by a company or institution check. 

The Department of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) reserves the right to cancel activities prior to the scheduled date, if low enrollment or other circumstances make it necessary. Each registrant will be notified by mail, e-mail, or at the phone or fax numbers given on the registration form.  In case of activity cancellation, the liability of the CPE is limited to the registration fee. CPE will refund the full registration fee. 

CPE reserves the right to limit the number of participants in an activity and is not responsible for any expenses incurred by an individual whose registration is not confirmed and for whom space is not available.

Evaluation
A course evaluation tool will provide participants with the opportunity to comment on the value of the program content to their practice decisions, performance improvement activities, or possible impact on patient health status.  Participants will also have the opportunity to comment on any perceived commercial bias in the presentations as well as to identify future educational topics.

Room Deposit: A non-refundable 10% deposit is due at the time of booking. Final and full payment will be charged at 30 days prior to arrival. After the final payment is charged, all reservations are fully non-refundable.  If cancelled prior to final payment, the 10% deposit is non-refundable. Trip protection is available for purchase at the time of booking.

Room Tax and Fees: taxes are 20.4% of the room cost, and resort fee is 7% (plus 20.4% tax) currently totaling 28.828%. Taxes and resort fees are per room, per night, and are subject to change without notice.
