Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe the foundational principles and evidence supporting interprofessional education and collaborative care, and explain how these practices improve healthcare quality, patient outcomes, and system efficiency.
  2. Identify and articulate the distinct roles, responsibilities, and scopes of practice of various healthcare professionals, fostering mutual respect and understanding to enhance team-based care.
  3. Demonstrate effective communication strategies and conflict resolution techniques that promote psychological safety, trust, and shared decision-making within interprofessional healthcare teams.
  4. Learn the importance of simulation and develop facilitation skills, supported by practical tips and resources to guide interprofessional collaboration in real-world settings.
