Internal Medicine and Cancer Survivorship Grand Rounds provides an opportunity for healthcare professionals to learn about clinically relevant issues in medicine, which include review of clinical and research topics to improve the level of performance of key processes and outcomes and to build a culture of continuous quality, safety and excellence in patient care.

Objective(s): 1 Identify and describe the range of Onco-Internal Medicine complications that result from cancer therapies. 2 Anticipate and manage internal medicine problems in cancer patients and survivors by applying preventative therapies. 3 Develop novel strategies for preventing internal medicine complications by utilizing the information presented. 4 Collaborate with colleagues at MD Anderson and other institutions to develop initiatives that will advance the internal medicine care of cancer patients and survivors.
