Overview
This series combines The Continued Professional Certification Program (CPC) and Leadership Excel and Achievement Program (LEAP) for Nurse Anesthetists or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Because of their specialized education and certification to assess, diagnose and manage medical issues, which includes ordering tests and prescribing medications, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) or Providers require continuing education to keep up with advances and technology in their field by bridging any gaps, fostering collaboration and enhancing perioperative care for cancer patients.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Analyze recent pharmacological advancements relevant to anesthesia practice to enhance understanding and optimize medication selection and dosing for diverse patient populations.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in advanced airway management techniques, incorporating evidence-based strategies to ensure effective airway maintenance and ventilation in various clinical scenarios.
  3. Evaluate physiological and pathophysiological principles impacting anesthesia management, applying this knowledge to anticipate and address patient responses to anesthesia interventions.
  4. Utilize updated anesthesia equipment and technology effectively, demonstrating competence in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety protocols to enhance patient care and mitigate risks.
