Inaugural Brain Tumor Center Trainee Symposium

The MD Anderson Cancer Center Brain Tumor Center presents a one-day hybrid symposium featuring contributions from leading international experts focused on Neural Malignancies. Be part of a groundbreaking scientific event that will integrate neuroscience, cancer biology and aging science to spur a wave of innovation in cancer research and care. The goal of this meeting is to explore how the interface between cancer biology and neuroscience impacts tumor development, progression, and health outcomes.

This 1st Brain Tumor Center Trainee Symposium will leverage advances in neurobiology, neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, neuropathology, neuroradiology, and neuroimaging. This meeting will bring together trainee experts including oncologists, surgeons, neurologists to facilitate discussions of exciting new concepts and developments in this rapidly growing field.

Sessions will delve into novel findings in fundamental research of the nervous system and cancer biology. Attendees should gain insights into fundamental research that addresses contributing and causative factors that can hijack or hamper these basic biological processes.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Continuing Professional Education reserves the right to cancel activities prior to the scheduled date, if low enrollment or other circumstances make it necessary.  Each registrant will be notified by mail, e-mail, or at the phone or fax numbers given on the registration form.

In case of activity cancellation, the liability of Continuing Professional Education is limited to the registration fee.  Continuing Professional Education will refund the full registration fee.

Continuing Professional Education reserves the right to limit the number of participants in a program and is not responsible for any expenses incurred by an individual whose registration is not confirmed and for whom space is not available.
