Overview
This on-demand course equips healthcare professionals with essential knowledge of legal and ethical challenges. Participants will learn practical frameworks for ethical decision-making and gain insights into legal regulations governing oncology practice. American Board of Anesthesiology

Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0 requirements. Participant completion data will be shared with and transmitted to the ACCME on the participant’s behalf. 

American Board of Internal Medicine
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.0 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn their required annual part II self-assessment credit in the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery’s Continuing Certification program (formerly known as MOC). It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of recognizing participation.

American Board of Pathology
This activity has been registered to offer credit in the American Board of Pathology’s Continuing Certification program. Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.0 Lifelong Learning credits. American Board of Pediatrics

American Board of Surgery 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME and Self-Assessment requirements of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.

Past, Present, and Future Ethical issues in Oncology

Requirements for Successful Activity Completion:

To successfully complete this activity and be awarded CE credits, Nursing Contact Hours or MOC points, the following requirements must be met:

  • Complete the Pre-Test
  • View the recording in its entirety
  • Complete the Post-Test
  • Complete the Evaluation

Upon completion of the post-test and activity evaluation please return to Evaluations and Certificates (in MyCE) and download your certificate.

In order to receive CE credits, Nursing Contact Hours or MOC points, you must pass the post-test with a score of 75% or higher. MOC participant completion data will be shared with and transmitted to the ACCME on the participant’s behalf.
