Objective(s): 1 Articulate research findings as they relate to cancer prevention; e.g., early screening detection, tobacco and smoking cessation, etc. 1 Recognize and reduce barriers to prevention comprehensively to increase the uptake of cancer prevention measures among patients, providers, and communities. 3 Advance collaboration and dialogue among clinicians, researchers, and study participants, cancer prevention and control efforts can become more holistic, patient-centered, and effective. 4 Execute and initiate new research projects, adaptations to ongoing research projects, or changes in practice to improve cancer prevention care with a systematic and strategic approach.
