Overview

The role of advanced imaging in radiation oncology is critical in delivering effective and precise treatments to cancer patients. This symposium brings together experts in the field to share their knowledge and expertise on the latest developments in imaging technologies and their applications in radiation therapy. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art computerized tomography techniques used throughout the radiation therapy continuum, from diagnosis to treatment delivery. The symposium also covers advanced image-guided treatment planning and radiation therapy guidance, including emerging techniques such as adaptive and PULSAR. Anatomic and functional magnetic resonance imaging will be discussed in the context of planning, treatment response, and delivery. PET imaging is becoming increasingly important in cancer diagnosis and treatment, and the symposium will delve into its use for both diagnostic and functional therapy guidance. In addition, participants will learn about the advances made in imaging applications for radiation therapy using artificial intelligence (AI), and how AI can improve outcomes for cancer patients. The symposium also focuses on innovative trial designs that incorporate imaging integration into clinical trials, highlighting both the challenges and opportunities. The discussions will cover how collaborative trials can advance the field, and the importance of testing AI-based image-guided radiation therapy for clinical usability and outcome improvement. Refund/Cancellation Policy
The registration fee, minus a $50 administration-handling fee, is refundable if a written request is received on or before August 31, 2023.  No refunds will be granted after these dates. The request for a registration refund must include the tax identification number of the company or institution if registration was paid by a company or institution check. 

Continuing Professional Education (CPE), reserves the right to cancel activities prior to the scheduled date, if low enrollment or other circumstances make it necessary.  Each registrant will be notified by mail, e-mail, or at the phone or fax numbers given on the registration form.  In case of activity cancellation, the liability of CPE is limited to the registration fee.
