ANCC - Nursing Contact Hour(s) (1.00 hours)

The series is designed to help nurses gain more knowledge for the care of patients during their hospital stay. By attending this educational activity, nurses will be able to gain knowledge about solid tumor treatments and complications, apply evidence-based practice and demonstrate latest treatment guidelines and algorithms in treating oncology inpatients admitted under hospital medicine

1. Assess and evaluate patients as they progress through treatment during their inpatient care.
2. Examine cancer related complications and utilize treatment guidelines and protocols to manage them
