Overview

A dermatoscope is a highly portable medical device that pairs a 10x magnifier with polarized light to better visualize the structures of skin lesions. When providers are appropriately trained, dermatoscopes are a cost-effective, accurate, and easy to use tool for providers to detect melanoma at its earliest stages when it is easiest to treat. The modules presented in this self-paced course seek to bridge the gap for enhanced dermsocopy training among practicing dermatologists.
