Overview
To promote Professionalism by identifying, measuring, and addressing unprofessional behaviors. To partner with health systems leaders worldwide in research and development of reliable and successful approaches to address the 2.5-4% of professionals who model disrespectful behavior. To support the core values and professional expectations that are foundational for effective teams in pursuit of high reliability and the delivery of safe, high quality healthcare, education, and research. The course will provide practical tactics for attendees who wish to implement these tools in their own organizations.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify and describe relationships between behaviors that undermine a culture of safety and suboptimal outcomes of care and team performance.
  2. Apply a method that may be used for identifying and effectively addressing professionals with apparent and persistent patterns of behaviors that undermine a culture of safety and respect.
  3. Describe the three graduated levels of interventions for addressing behavior that undermine a culture of safety and respect.

Registration
