This activity is designed to enhance the nurse's knowledge of Oncology related diseases, symptom management, psychosocial dimensions, and nursing interventions for successful completion of the Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification exam. This is Day 2 of a 2 Day class.

1. At the conclusion of this activity, the oncology nurse will self-report an increase in knowledge in order to successfully pass the Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) exam.

The Oncology Certification Nurse (OCN) Review will begin at 8:00 am on Thursday, March 17, 2022, and will adjourn at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

• Cancer Network Partners - Exempt Fee
• MD Anderson Physicians Network Nurses - $75.00 
• Non-MD Anderson Nurses- $125.00

• Scientific basis for practice (helpful as pre-course content).
• Neurologic System Cancers /Anticonvulsives,
• Bone and Soft Tissue Cancers
• Survivorship and Palliative Care/End of Life 
• Professional practice/Legal/Ethics

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION:

To receive 7.50 contact hours for this activity, the participant must: 
•Create an account in the Professional Education Portal (PEP) and save your Mobile Number to your PEP account if not already done. 
•Register for this activity.
•During activity, TEXT your attendance to 1-844-912-1333 and up to 2hrs after the course has ended using the Activity ID provided by the Facilitator during program.
•Complete a participant evaluation in PEP, under the MyCE tab, within 7 consecutive days of the learning activity where you will also have immediate access to your Certificate.
