Overview
The MD Anderson Cancer Network Nursing Education Series is designed for oncology nurses within the Partner and Certified Member program and provides evidence-based oncology content. The activity will highlight traits of resilient professionals and will discuss strategies for developing as a resilient professional. Additionally, the offering will offer tips and guidance on how to coach resilient behaviors in oneself and in others.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this learning activity the RN will:

  1. Define professional resiliency and identify traits to developing professional resiliency to combat stressful events within the oncology healthcare setting.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION:

To receive 1.00 contact hours for this activity, the participant must: 

  • Create an account in the Professional Education Portal (PEP) and save your Mobile Number to your PEP account if not already done.
  • Register for this activity.
  • During activity, TEXT your attendance to 1-844-912-1333 and up to 2hrs after the course has ended using the Activity ID provided by the Facilitator during program.
  • Complete a participant evaluation in PEP, under the MyCE tab, within 7 consecutive days of the learning activity where you will also have immediate access to your Certificate.
