Overview
Fertility preservation for cancer patients (oncofertility) combines the art and science of reproductive and oncology to educate cancer patients and preserve or expand their reproductive options.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, the RN will be able to:

  1. Discuss fertility risk and fertility preservation options for female cancer patients prior to cancer treatment
  2. Identify fertility risk factors and barriers for female cancer patients
  3. Discuss fertility preservation options available for female cancer patients
  4. Describe patient education and resources
