Overview
This will be a live discussion of the article from Rowena Forsyth, Camilla Louise Scanlan, and Ian Kerridge titled "Optimizing consent and adherence in high-risk medical settings: nurses' role as information providers in allogeneic bone marrow transplant," published November 2019 in the Australian Journal of Cancer Nursing. An additional case study, question and answer session and discussion add to the interactive nature of this activity. There will be two programs offered on this date, one at 3:00 pm, and one at 10:00 pm. You only need to attend one to obtain contact hours. Credit can be applied toward BMTCN and OCN certification.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. At the end of this presentation, the registered nurse will articulate enhanced knowledge of the role of information provider to Stem Cell Transplant patients.
