Robert A. Wolff, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology and Deputy Division Head of Clinical and Educational Affairs for the Division of Cancer Medicine. He was Director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program since 1999, ending his 20 years of service on August 3, 2019.

 

He achieved wider recognition among his peers as a recipient of the prestigious University of Texas System Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award in 2014. In 2017, he received the Excellence in Education and Mentorship Award as well as the Samuel J. Hassenbusch Leadership and Institutional Service Award from MD Anderson Cancer Center. And in 2019, he earned the Clinical Education Excellence Award as an Outstanding Program Director from the UT MD Anderson Academy of Heath Science Education.

 

Since 2001, Dr. Wolff has been elected to “Best Doctors, based on selection by medical experts as “the doctor other doctors trust most.”
